Book of Daniel - Similarities to Islam: Freedom v. Totalitarianism

The book of Daniel describes a totalitarian kingdom around 1000 years before the founding of Islam. It is as if Islam is modeled after the book of Daniel: mandatory prayer facing a certain direction several times a day and intolerance, including death, for worship of any other God. Of course, nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus taught not to pray in public in order to be seen but instead to pray in your closet or otherwise in private, so that only God knew your prayer. This illustrates the polar opposites between the authoritarian collectivism, or totalitarianism of Islam and the libertarian individualism of Christianity.

Daniel 3:4-7 “Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.”

Daniel disobeyed the “law” and was thrown into the fiery furnace. God saved him.

Daniel 6:4-9 “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. 6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. 7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. 8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.”

Like many Christians who've not studied the Bible, many Muslims have not seriously studied Islamic texts. Many leave Islam after they understand those texts. There are 2 Islams: the peaceful one, and the jihadist. We cannot help them escape unless we understand its texts. The enemy, Satan, wants to divide and conquer, to stir up hatred and keep up with killing and wars. But, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS LAW? ... Islam, by law, is PROHIBITED from US immigration ... The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House. Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life's guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any "organization" that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited. Islam is not just a religion. It is a political movement with the goal of world domination.
